Take back control of habits, stress, and anxiety
If willpower hasn’t worked, it’s not a lack of discipline, it’s how the pattern is wired. This approach works at that level.

Addictions & Habits — changed at the source, not fought at the surface
Stress & Anxiety — reduced, not just managed, by working at the level that matters
Fears & Phobias — resolved, often faster than people expect

This works best for adults who are genuinely ready and willing to commit to change. You may have tried to address this through willpower, research, perhaps therapy or other approaches. Some may have helped, partially or temporarily. But the problem hasn't gone away.
That's not a personal failing — and it's rarely for a lack of trying.
Certain habits, fears, and anxiety patterns operate beneath conscious control, which is why effort and good intentions can only take you so far. Over 18 years and more than 6,000 client sessions, I've developed an integrated approach that draws on hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, and cognitive therapy. Rather than applying technique alone, I work to understand the unique structure of your problem first — and that's what makes change faster, deeper, and more lasting than most people expect.
This approach works well if you:
Are ready to commit to real, lasting change — not just symptom management
Have tried other approaches and found them only partially effective
Want something focused and structured, not open-ended
Value discretion, professionalism, and measurable, tangible results
Imagine being less driven by cravings, and more in control around triggers — without the constant mental tug-of-war.
You have tried to lose it. Diets, exercise, a different diet…it just doesn’t work. Let’s explore the reasons it’s been hard to stay consistent.
Support for reducing the intensity of panic responses and rebuilding a sense of steadiness and control.
Support focused on changing how pain is experienced and responded to, helping you feel more at ease and in control.
Hypnotherapy can support you in changing the fear response and feeling more comfortable in situations you currently avoid.
Most people who come to me have already spent time — and money — on approaches that offered partial or temporary relief. That's not what this is.
The work is delivered as a focused, structured programme tailored specifically to what you want to address. Rather than an open-ended process, this is designed to produce real, lasting change within a defined timeframe — so you can get on with your life.
Step 1 — A Free Phone Consultation A confidential 20-minute conversation. You tell me what's going on, I explain how I work, and we establish whether this is a good fit. No obligation, no pressure, and a straight answer either way.
Step 2 — Your Programme A structured series of one-to-one sessions built around your specific situation. Each session has a clear purpose and builds on the last. You'll always know what we're doing and why.
Step 3 — Lasting Change The goal isn't ongoing dependency — it's a shift that holds. Most clients complete their programme and don't need to return.

I'm Luke Martin — clinical hypnotherapist and psychotherapist, practising since 2007.
I work privately with adults who want to feel calmer, more confident, and more in control — particularly when stress, habits, or emotional patterns have started to feel repetitive or difficult to shift.
Many of the people I work with are capable, thoughtful, and self-aware. They often understand what they want to change — but find that logic, effort, and willpower alone haven't been enough to create lasting movement. That's where my work focuses.
My approach integrates hypnotherapy with Human Givens Psychology, CBT, NLP, and mindfulness into a single, focused process. Rather than technique alone, I work to understand what's actually driving the pattern — and address it at that level. That's what makes change faster and more lasting than most people expect.
My interest in this work is personal as well as professional. Earlier in my own life I experienced how difficult certain patterns can be to shift through insight alone. Discovering hypnotherapy showed me a different way of working — one that helped loosen patterns that had previously felt fixed.
